Barcelona are continuing to keep an eye on Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi as the Spanish giants look at possible options for the future.
According to reports from Diario Sport, Tresoldi remains on Barcelona’s radar as the club assesses potential targets for the centre-forward position.
The German forward has caught attention with his performances in Belgium. Last season, he enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 23 goals and providing nine assists for Club Brugge.
His form has not slowed down this season either. Tresoldi has already found the net five times in nine appearances, further strengthening his reputation as one of the young forwards worth watching in Europe.
Barcelona’s interest is understandable, particularly as the club continues to look at long-term options for its attack. Tresoldi’s ability to operate as a central striker, combined with his movement and goalscoring instincts, has made him an interesting name for the Catalan club.
The 22-year-old is currently valued at around €25 million by Transfermarkt, although reports suggest Club Brugge would want significantly more than that figure before considering his departure. AS previously reported that the Belgian club had set an asking price of around €45-50 million.
For now, Barcelona are simply monitoring the situation rather than pushing ahead with a deal.
However, if Tresoldi continues producing goals at his current rate, his name is likely to become even more prominent in the transfer market.
Barcelona will therefore be keeping a close watch on the young striker as they continue planning for the future.
