Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on Fulham midfielder Josh King as interest in the young midfielder continues to grow.
The 19-year-old has caught the attention of several clubs with his performances, and Arsenal are now seriously considering making a move for him in the future.
According to 4-4-2, Fulham have no intention of allowing King to leave during the January transfer window. The London club are determined to keep hold of the midfielder for the remainder of the season.
However, that stance could change next summer, with Fulham potentially willing to listen to offers if the right proposal arrives.
King is currently valued at around €60 million, highlighting just how highly Fulham rate the youngster. Arsenal are not the only club interested, either, with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund also reportedly following his situation.
For Arsenal, signing King would fit their strategy of investing in young talent with the potential to develop into an important first-team player. The midfielder could become an option for the future if the Gunners decide to strengthen their midfield.
Liverpool are also understood to be monitoring the situation, while Dortmund’s interest could add further competition for his signature.
There is still a long way to go before any deal can happen, and Fulham’s decision not to consider a January sale means interested clubs may have to wait until the summer.
For now, Arsenal appear to be watching closely as the race for one of Fulham’s highly rated young midfielders begins to take shape.
