Liverpool could make another major investment in their attack as they continue rebuilding their squad following Mohamed Salah’s departure from Anfield.
The Reds have already spent heavily on their forward line this summer, including a club-record deal for Bradley Barcola, but another attacking name has now emerged on their radar.
According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Liverpool are keeping an eye on Chelsea winger Estevao Willian as they assess potential options for the future.
Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the Brazilian youngster, setting up the possibility of a major transfer battle if Chelsea eventually decide to listen to offers.
Chelsea are understood to value Estevao at around £103 million, although there is currently no indication that the club is actively looking to sell him.
The situation could become more complicated if the teenager struggles to secure regular first-team football during the coming months. With Chelsea possessing several attacking options, competition for minutes at Stamford Bridge is already intense.
Why Liverpool Are Interested
Estevao has quickly built a reputation as one of the most exciting young attacking players in English football.
The Brazilian is known for his pace, close control and ability to take on defenders, while his movement from the right side gives him another way to create problems for opposition defences.
At just 19, he also fits the profile of a player who could become an important part of Liverpool’s long-term plans.
Liverpool are still adapting to life after Salah, and adding another dangerous right-sided attacker could give the club greater flexibility in the final third.
However, convincing Chelsea to part with Estevao would be a completely different challenge.
The Blues invested heavily in the youngster and are likely to demand a substantial fee if they ever decide to consider offers for him.
Barcelona Also Watching
Liverpool may also have to contend with Barcelona.
The Spanish giants have reportedly been monitoring Estevao’s situation, although their own squad could present a difficult pathway to regular football for the youngster.
Lamine Yamal has established himself as Barcelona’s primary option on the right wing, potentially making playing time another important consideration for Estevao when deciding his future.
For Liverpool, meanwhile, the opportunity to offer a prominent role could strengthen their position if the club eventually makes a formal approach.
For now, though, Estevao remains a Chelsea player and there is no indication that a £103 million transfer is close.
Liverpool’s interest is one to watch, particularly if the teenager’s playing time becomes an issue and Chelsea receive a serious offer in the future.
