Liverpool are reportedly considering Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah as the club begins to look at its long-term attacking options.
According to German newspaper BILD, the Reds are monitoring the French international, who has established himself as one of Bayern Munich’s key attacking players. His performances have reportedly attracted interest from several European giants, including Real Madrid.
Liverpool are believed to be assessing possible options to fill the gap that Salah could eventually leave at Anfield. The Egyptian forward has been a crucial figure for the club over the years, making the search for a suitable successor a major priority for the Reds.
Olise has emerged as an attractive option because of his technical ability, creativity, pace and versatility in attack. The 24-year-old is capable of playing on either wing and has the ability to create chances, score goals and make a difference in important matches.
However, signing the Bayern Munich winger would not be an easy task for Liverpool. Olise is reportedly valued at around €170 million, a figure that would make any potential transfer a huge financial commitment.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the Frenchman, although reports suggest that Olise favours a future move to Spain. This could give the Spanish giants an advantage if he eventually decides to leave Bayern Munich.
For now, Olise remains an important player for Bayern, and there is no indication that the German club are willing to let him go easily.
Liverpool will therefore have to consider other options if they decide to strengthen their attack, particularly as competition for Olise’s signature could become intense.
While no formal bid has been confirmed, the reported interest highlights Liverpool’s efforts to identify a long-term successor to Salah as they prepare for the future.
