Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Brentford forward Kevin Schade ahead of the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old has caught attention with his performances this season, scoring three goals in five league appearances. His pace, direct style and ability to play across the attacking line have made him an interesting option for clubs looking to strengthen their forward options.
According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are keeping an eye on Schade as they assess potential attacking targets for January.
However, any move could depend heavily on Brentford’s plans for the German forward. The Bees are currently working on an improved contract for Schade and are keen to keep hold of him.
Brentford are reportedly looking for around £60 million if they are to consider selling the player. That would represent a significant investment for Liverpool, although the Reds could potentially make a move if Schade’s contract negotiations with Brentford fail to reach an agreement.
Liverpool have continued to monitor attacking options as they look to maintain competition within their squad, and Schade’s profile could make him an attractive addition.
At 24, the forward still has plenty of room to develop, while his current form has strengthened his position in the transfer market.
For now, Brentford remain in a strong position with Schade under contract, but the situation could become more interesting if talks over a new deal break down.
Liverpool’s interest is therefore one to watch closely as the January window approaches.
