Hull City manager Sergej Jakirović has revealed that he has his sights set on managing one of the biggest clubs in football, with Manchester United emerging as the name he mentioned when discussing his future ambitions.
The Croatian coach was asked whether he would consider returning to Dinamo Zagreb, where he previously managed, but his response suggested that he is thinking beyond a return to his former club.
“Me? I’m looking TOWARDS Manchester United, haha! Never say never. I’m looking to reach the BIGGEST clubs here,” Jakirović said, according to RTL Danas, via Sport Witness.
The remark immediately caught the attention of Manchester United supporters, particularly because of the club’s global reputation and the continued interest surrounding its managerial direction.
