Arsenal are reportedly considering Brentford winger Kevin Schade as an alternative to Vinicius Junior as they continue to look at options for the left side of their attack.
According to FootballTransfers on Saturday, September 26, 2026, Arsenal had explored the possibility of signing Vinicius during the summer. However, with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard both leaving the club, the Gunners could still look to strengthen the position.
Christos Tzolis was brought in as a replacement, but Arsenal are believed to be considering another winger in the future, with Schade now emerging as a possible target.
The 24-year-old has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly among those monitoring his situation. Brentford are also keen to tie Schade down to a new contract, although growing interest in the player could make those negotiations more difficult.
There has been no official asking price reported for Schade, but FootballTransfers currently values the Germany international at around €36.8 million (£31.6m).
Schade has also impressed data analysts SciSports, who rate him highly among left wingers based on their performance metrics. His current rating is still below Vinicius, but his potential has been viewed positively.
The Brentford winger also offers a different style to the Real Madrid forward. Vinicius is known more for his creativity and attacking ability, while Schade can contribute more defensively, particularly when pressing, disrupting opponents and helping his team deal with counterattacks.
His attacking output has also continued to improve. Schade has scored three goals in his first five Premier League appearances this season, having previously recorded a career-best 13 goal contributions in a single league campaign.
With Arsenal still looking for more options in attack, Schade could become an interesting name to watch if the club decides to return to the market for another winger.
