Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven ahead of the January transfer window.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, United are very keen on the Netherlands international and have been monitoring his situation as they consider possible defensive reinforcements.
Van de Ven has established himself as an important player at Tottenham since arriving from Wolfsburg. His pace, strength and ability to cover large spaces have made him one of the more highly regarded defenders in the Premier League.
Those qualities could make him an attractive option for Manchester United, particularly as the club continues to assess its defensive options.
