Barcelona are reportedly keeping an eye on Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko as they begin looking at possible options for their attack ahead of 2027.
According to TuttoJuve, the Slovenian forward has been added to Barcelona’s list of potential targets as the Catalan club assess different options for the No.9 position.
Barcelona are expected to continue monitoring the striker market, with the club looking for a player who can provide a long-term solution in the centre-forward position. Sesko’s profile is understood to have caught their attention.
Manchester United set Sesko price
Any potential deal, however, would not come cheaply.
Manchester United are reportedly valuing Sesko at around €75 million, while the striker remains under contract with the club until 2030.
That long-term agreement gives United a strong negotiating position should Barcelona eventually decide to make a formal approach.
Sesko’s future could therefore become an interesting storyline over the next few transfer windows, particularly if his performances continue to attract attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
For now, Barcelona’s interest appears to be at the monitoring stage rather than anything close to an official bid.
The Catalan giants have plenty of time before 2027, but adding Sesko to their shortlist shows that they are already thinking about how they want their attack to look in the future.
Whether Barcelona eventually turn that interest into a serious attempt to sign the Manchester United striker remains to be seen.
